Caranya, kata ‘power’ yang berupa noun perlu diubah menjadi adjective, yakni ‘powerful’. Kemudian, kata ‘reproduce’ yang berupa verb perlu diubah menjadi noun dengan bentuk gerund ‘reproducing’. Hasilnya menjadi ‘the powerful reproducing asexually’.

Jawaban: root, seharusnya roots (pakai s).

Pembahasan: Jenis kata atau kelas kata sebelum/sesudah konjungsi (and) harus disamakan. Dalam hal ini, ‘stems’ dan ‘leaves’ bersifat plural. Oleh karena itu, ‘root’ perlu diubah menjadi ‘roots’ agar bersifat plural.
